Aleck Chimhofu is a registered legal practitioner, and conveyancer. He holds an LLB (Hans) from the University of Zimbabwe. He joined Matsikidze-Attorneys-At-Law as an Associate on 3 February 2020. Prior to joining the firm, he had a very enriching stint with Gutu and Chikowero Legal Practitioners whence he harnessed quite a vast experience in civil and commercial litigation under the pupillage of the Honourable Justice Chikowero before his ascension to the High Cant bench. As a result he has had exposure in both the inferior and superior courts of this country successfully representing clients. He believes that the true creed of good lawyering is the ability to take clients to legal solutions as quickly and cheaply as possible. To him. therefore, law should not be viewed as a narrow and isolated branch, the manifest and application of which is triggered only when matters of dispute and compliance arise.

Legal counsel rather should form part of the day to day decision making process and its impact on the clients’ business and development should be proactively and objectively assessed and analyzed. Thus, a sound advice to clients is a step to achieving client’s desired goals.
